New cameras, videocameras, and digital voice recorders at the PRHS library

PRHS library has an array of media devices available for overnight checkout to both students and teachers. Please ask any of the librarians and they will be happy to assist you with checking out and operating these materials.

Flip video recorders

These handheld digital camcorders allow you to take video and immediately upload it to a computer. The built in USB cable allows you to post your videos on YouTube or your website/Facebook/Blog as soon as they are recorded. Take video of a science experiment, field trip, or sporting event and share it with your classmates and teachers.

Digital Voice Recorders (Digital Voice Recorder FAQ

The Digital Voice Recorder is similar to a hand-held tape recorder (except way cooler!). You can use the Digital Voice Recorder to record audio from an interview, a class lecture, or your own voice. Like the Flip video recorder, you will be able to immediately upload the audio onto your computer using the built in USB connection.  Once uploaded, you can publish your recording on your Wiki page, website, blog, CD, or other electronic media.

Canon Powershot A530  /  Kodak digital cameras

With digital cameras, you can take photographs of students/teachers, projects/displays, or just the beautiful New Hampshire mountains in the fall. The pictures can easily be uploaded to a computer and emailed to colleagues or posted on the internet.
